Tour-Infos im July 2012 Full Moon Update

    Ich habe hier mal die entscheidenden Passagen aus dem Full Moon Video von heute niedergeschrieben:


    We're also working on preparations for the tour - I call it Back to Front because it will feature the top to bottom thing of the SO record and I'm delighted that we actually managed to get all the players that did that original tour of that record in 86/87 so that's Tony Levin, David Rhodes, David Sanctious and Manu Katché. And I'm sure I'll have some excellent singers - that's still being discussed at the moment so I'm looking forward to that. And also with my family after that doing something which we're calling a year of interesting things: we're taking out kids out of school and after the touring we're going to a year of travel, so going to lots of places that we get invited to and never seem to have the time to visit; places of interest, maybe some of out WOMAD connections around the world and also we're fascinated with a lot of science places so we'll be going to the Media Lab; to NASA, maybe to an observatory. Anyway, something I meant to do when I was 50, calling it our gap year but it should be a wonderful experience and we're getting excited about that. And I plan to do a little bit in South America in February, probably just a chunk in America and then South America in the February period and that's all the touring I'm gonna be doing next year but as a private citizen I will be doing a lot of other touring. Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful month; I hope to see you in a month's time, take care, bye!


    nächstes Jahr also nur noch im Februar Shows in Süd-Amerika und nochmal kurz Amerika und sonst kein weiteres Touring in 2013 und nach dem Februar geht er 1 Jahr lang mit Frau und den Söhnen auf Weltreise zu allen möglichen Orten, die er immer schon mal sehen wollte, und tritt nicht auf.

    Dann hoffen wir mal, dass die Tour gut dokumentiert wird, dass wir auch alle was davon haben. Ansonsten waren wir ja tourmäßig sehr verwöhnt von Gabriel in den letzten Jahren. Ich kann damit leben, ihn mal ein oder zwei Jahre nicht live zu sehen.

    Natürlich sind jetzt alle ein bisschen enttäuscht, dass keine weitere Europatournee folgt, aber man darf nicht vergessen, dass er seit 2010 dreimal in Deutschland war, und zum Thema, dass gerade die "Back to front"- Tour interessant ist, er spielt eine Reihe seiner größten Hits, eigentlich keine so große Überraschung, außer ein paar neuen Songs und 3 unbekanntere von SO.
    Viele Fans :huhu: hätten Peter gerne mal wieder mit Band gesehen.
    Seht es mal so: sein folgendes Sabbatical- Jahr ist auch eine kreative Auszeit oder anders gesagt eine Auszeit für Kreativität. Die Chance, mit seinen jungen Kinder als relativ alter Vater mit bester Gesundheit um die Welt zu reisen, ist sehr verlockend und wird den Kindern und ihm unvergessliche Erlebnisse bescheren.
    Also sei's drum. Vielleicht gibt's einen Livemitschnitt, der in 2-3 Jahren erscheint und solange können wir uns Scratch my back, New Blood, die neue SWL und das SO- Paket in die CD- Player legen und uns freuen!

    Warten wir's ab. Mit dem Orchester wollte Peter nach der ursprünglichen Tour auch nicht mehr auftreten und dann...... Wir kennen das Ergebnis. Also wollen wir 'mal hoffen. Und Peter ändert seine Pläne bekanntlich ja häufiger, z.B. auch was Veröffentlichungen von Alben , Songs oder Projekten angeht.

    ...ist Facebook beigetreten vor 4 Stunden.


    Die Facebook Seite von Peter ist das sicherlich nicht, aber auch das wird mich garantiert nicht dazu bewegen, mich bei Facebook anzumelden.


    Traurig eigentlich, dass heutzutage immer mehr Gewinnspiele, Petitionen etc. nur noch über Facebook abgewickelt werden.


    Wenn mir jemand keine Alternative bietet, um an etwas teilzunehmen, dann verzichte ich lieber darauf, als dass ich meine Seele an Facebook verkaufe.


    Vor einigen Jahren war es MySpace, dann kamen die mittlerweile nahezu ausgestorbenen VZ-Netzwerke, und in ein paar Jahren wird auch Facebook niemanden mehr interessieren.


    Hauptsache, man hat jeden Trend mal mitgemacht, brav überall seine Daten hinterlassen und kann dann irgendwann stolz seinen Enkeln berichten... "Es war zwar nicht immer schön, aber ich war dabei!"


    Nee, danke, ohne mich!

    Mein "like" ist dabei - es stand gerade bei 1.833...da geht noch mehr, oder ?!?!?

    Man kann sich übrigens auch völlig anonym bzw. unter Pseudonym bei Facebook anmelden und überhaupt keine persönliche Daten angeben (auch wenn Zuckerberg das nicht gern sieht). ;)
