Peter Gabriel has released a song from his as yet unreleased album Son Of Ovo for a good purpose. He donated Make Tomorrow Today for the Download To Donate Haiti (Music For Relief) charity.
UPDATE: After a couple of hours Make Tomorrow Today was replaced by Heroes. The reason for this switch is not yet known. Gabriel's official website confirmed the switch but did not offer any comment.
The song is available from this link. The organizers ask you to donate for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti in return for which you can get a whole album of rare songs by various artists.
Though you do not actually have to donate to get the music the good purpose is the central issue here. We support and endorse the charity.Gabriel's "own" version of Make Tomorrow (from OVO, 2000) is called Make Tomorrow Today, is shorter than the original - and of course Peter Gabriel sings it all.

So sehe ich das auch...... auch wenn Parts von "Rhythm of the Heat" in "Revenche" in der Vergangenheit auftauchen wohl irgendwie ähnlich klingend. Aber zu dem Zeitpunkt war das noch kein eigenständiger Song, somit auch nicht zählbar für mich.

Gibt es eigentlich schon eine offizielle Auflösung? Quasi für Blinde, wie mich. Habe nämlich keine Auflösung gefunden. Oder sollen die 60% die Antwort sein...Hmh

Das kommt mir bekannt vor, ich war auch bei sechs, aber eben dieser revenge- TROTH-Vergleich und die etwas verklausuliert gestellte frage, da habt Ihr Burschen vielleicht doch ein kleines bißchen die Semantik getuned, non?
Also sieben und die Flasche Vitaburlecitin ist auch schon fast leer... -
Ich bin nur auf 5 gekommen. Der Haiti-Sampler wr ja ein Versehen, das kann man nicht zählen.

...habt ihr noch nicht auf der Lösungsseite geschaut?
"6" war richtig. Und auch wenn "Make Tommorow Today" nur für kurze Zeit erhältlich war...das zählt natürlich auch. War nämlich nicht wirklich ein Versehen, sondern wurde kurzfristig (zwecks SMB-Promo) umentschieden. -
Eine Verständnisfrage: Warum zählt die CD-Single "The Story of OVO (Rasco's Rap Version)" nicht als 7. Lösung? Es ist ein völlig anderer Mix ohne Neneh Cherry von den Original-Tapes und -Mitwirkenden. Das kann man kaum als Cover-Version bezeichnen, sondern eben als Remix, der separat erschien.
