    Moin Forum,

    ich habe gerade mitbekommen, dass im Soundtrack des 2004-Film "Shall we dance?" ("Darf ich bitten?"), "The Book of Love" inbegriffen ist.

    Das wundert mich jetzt. Hat Gabriel 2004 bereits einige Songs mit Orchester eingespielt? Ich dachte die Aufnahmen zum Album Scratch My Back seien relativ zeitnah gewesen.

    Würde mich über Informationen freuen :huhu:

    er hat den Song damals aufgenommen, aber keine weiteren, war für den Film

    Royale hat also das Sa1.1-Nachmittagsprogramm genossen :p.

    Mit den Arbeiten an the Book of Love ist der gute Peter auf den Geschmack gekommen, ein ganzes Album mit Orchester einzuspielen. Die Version of SMB ist aber wie der Rest des Albums komplett neu eingespielt worden. Daher gibt es - mindestens - 3 Versionen von Book of Love:

    1. Shall We Dance OST
    2. SMB
    3. SMB Bonus Disc

    Wurde "The Book Of Love" damals nicht bloß aufgenommen, weil in der Session für "Signal To Noise" noch Zeit übrig war?
