Aus heiterem Himmel hat Anthony Phillips sein neues Soloalbum angekündigt. Gemini – Pieces For Piano erscheint am 10. April 2026 bei CherryRed. Es ist der Nachfolger seines letzten Soloalbums Private Parts & Pieces XII: The Golden Hour.

Gemini – Pieces For Piano ist tatsächlich ein Doppelalbum. Es enthält eine Auswahl von Aufnahmen, die zwischen Oktober 2022 und Oktober 2025 entstanden sind. Anthony selbst sagt, dass das Album seine besten Keyboard-Kompositionen seit Soirée (1999) enthält. Der Titel des neuen Albums stammt von einem Stück, das Anthony für die berühmte Pianistin Martha Argerich geschrieben hat, die das Werk 2018 uraufgeführt hat.
