Ich habe es mir gestern als eBook gekauft und bin sehr fasziniert.
Seinen Schreibstil finde ich sehr locker und amüsant und er schreibt sehr offen.
Anscheinend hat er das Buch aber ganz allein geschrieben, ein Co-Autor ist jedenfalls in meiner Kindle-Ausgabe nicht vermehrt.

Schöner Artikel von einem mit sich im Reinen zu scheinenden Mike!
Vor allem das Ende mach jeden Genesis-Fan glücklich und beruhigt!!! 
1. 1970 erschien Genesis im BBC-Fernsehen ("Disco 2"). Mindestens "The Knife" wurde gespielt. Who knew?
2. Laut Mike haben die Jungs auch "Going Out To Get You" für die 1970er BBC-Radio-Session aufgenommen. Allerdings spricht er von "Pacidy", "Going Out To get You" (einer 20-minütigen Version) und "Shepherd". Vielleicht hat jemand GOTGY mit "Let Us Now Make Love" verwechselt?
Das wären eventuell zwei Fragen für Ant im März.
Ich bin jetzt halb durch und finde interessant, dass Mike offen über Drogen und Groupies schreibt. Nebenbei erfahreich, dass "Harlequin" von ihm ist. Ich hatte es Tony zugeordnet.
Die Einbindung der Notizen seines Vaters ist stilistisch interessant, aber für mich inhaltlich nicht sehr relevant. Dass er es Steve nicht vorab geschickt hat, liegt vielleicht daran, dass Steve wenig vorkommt, aber er schreibt durchaus nett über ihn. Dagegen schreibt er durchaus kritisch über Tony.
Das Buch liest sich bisher ganz flott, hat ein paar nette Anekdoten, ist aber kein literarischer Überbrüller, was es bestimmt auch nicht sein sollte. Vergleichbar wie seine Songs.
Ein Gesamtfazit gibt es, wenn ich durch bin, also in ein paar Tagen.
